Hi! This blog is dedicated to helping those who have been or are currently victims of sexual violence and/or domestic violence. My mission is to support those in need and make a difference in the lives of people who need it.
I was raped for the first time when I was 15 years old. For two years, I never told anyone. The abuse continued and escalated. I felt so alone. When I was 17, I finally told some one the truth. The police got involved but nothing ever came of it. They never even called my parents. It was all covered up. The more I share my story, the more I hear of people having similar experiences. This is not okay. Being a victim of this type of violence shouldn't happen and having it covered up traumatizes you all over again. This blog is dedicated to helping all those who have been in these situations.
